Greenhouse gas emission

In today's interconnected world, one of the most pressing issues we face is the dramatic rise in greenhouse gas emissions, largely attributed to our reliance on a fossil fuel-driven economic model. These emissions threaten to significantly increase global average temperatures, potentially leading to a series of devastating environmental impacts.

The potential consequences are alarming - melting ice caps, extreme weather patterns, widespread droughts, and rising sea levels. The potential decline in crop yields could also lead to famine and disease, posing a serious threat to human life. These potential outcomes could have a profound impact on our everyday lives, emphasizing the urgency of immediate action.

International financial assistance must increase significantly while new public and private sources of capital are restructured through financing mechanisms that reduce capital charges, including debt financing, long-term concessional financing, guarantees, and catalytic financing.

Indeed, this
does present
an opportunity!

On November 20, the United Nations Environment Program released its annual report, titled "2023 Emissions Gap Report: Record-breaking - Temperatures Soar to Unprecedented Levels, Yet Global Emissions Reductions Remain Unachieved." The report alarmingly disclosed that global greenhouse gas emissions are projected to hit a record-breaking 57.4 billion tons in 2022.
